Free health education resources and information, including, posters, pamphlets, videos are available to county residents. Health education presentations are available for schools and community groups on topics including, but not limited to: bloodborne pathogens, HIV/AIDS, tobacco prevention and cessation, and heart disease prevention.
Provides referral information to other health education agencies. Conducts public information and public relations activities for the health department.
Coordinates heart disease and lung cancer prevention activities. Interested citizens can join workgroups working on tobacco prevention and other activities being planned for Grundy County.
